We are pleased to present a new highlight.

This extraordinary black 69 Road Runner stands out visually with its blue airbrush motif roof and design elements in the style of the "End" 60s absolutely. Even our Moparshop owner Oliver has not seen anything like this in his "Mopar only" life since 1991, neither in the USA nor in Europe. But the whole thing is topped, because it is a hand-cracked post rack! For all you non-insiders, the body is the sturdier version with a B-pillar (it really makes a difference!) and it has a 4 speed manual transmission on board....FETT! And the whole thing still "4 on the Floor", so not in the elegant 2 single seats and center console style, but simply musclecar style ..a bench and the gearshift come up out of the floor.

Of course, as with all our sale cars, we compared the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to the bodystamp numbers. They match and this is a genuine Road Runner. The stamped numbers match the VIN & the fender tag. However, what is particularly rare (only about 10%) with genuine Mucle Cars is that this Roadrunner still has its factory assembled engine and transmission combination. The engine and transmission have the "matching numbers" and the casting date of the engine block is appropriately 10/18/1968.

Beep-Beep... chasing is fun - being faster even more so!

The 383cui and 335HP V8 big block HP engine, wears a 4 barrel carburetor (Edelbrock AVS-2) and appealingly new Mopar Performance black wrinkle finish valve covers were installed. Coincidentally we found in our used parts inventory the carburetor numbered 4615S that was installed on 1969 383HP engines. This can be purchased otional and also overhauled and installed. The exhaust passes through original Hi Performance cast iron manifolds into a dual pipe exhaust and exits through chrome end tips. For deceleration, a 4-piston disc brake is installed up front and Road Runner's signature 11″ drum brakes are installed in the rear.

The distinctive blue airbrushed paint on the gloss black body paint makes this Roadrunner a real eye catcher. The 70's style high quality blue gray airbrushed paint that runs across the entire roof is repeated in harmony in the same hue on the tailgate and hood, as well as on the vents and side (pinstriping). And what suits a fast Road Runner better than the well-known cartoon character. So not only do small Road Runner decals on the doors, rear windows and trunk lid round out the overall look, but the black tinted windows, let the blue airbrush stand out.
The chrome on the trim, rear and front ends are in excellent condition. A door mirror on the passenger side has been added to visually match the driver's side mirror.

The car is mounted on American Racing "Ansen Sprint" wheels (5) with 225-70-14 tires in the front and 235-60-15 tires in the rear, which have less than 1000 miles on them.

The black vinyl leather interior is also in excellent condition. Covered with it are the headliner, parcel shelf and door interior trim. The factory DeLuxe bench seats with headrests and the crack-free dashboard are also designed in the same way.
In addition, the interior can boast of new front window regulators.  An AutoMeter tachometer installed on the steering column and a working original Music Master AM radio. Replaced and installed were the clutch and brake pedal pads, as well as a new interior day/night mirror. In cool oldstyle look, an aftermarket air conditioner is also installed under the dash Monitor Mark IV. All lights and factory gauges work.

This well-maintained coupe received an oil and filter change less than 1000 miles ago with Amsoil 10W40 full synthetic oil and NAPA Platinum oil filter. The cooling system was also drained, flushed and topped off with NAPA Extra Life antifreeze.
