5 years driven - 39 years stored

one of the best colors GY3 citron-Yella

The top-equipped Super Bee was born in Detroit (Lynch Road) on August 15, 1970, making it one of the first 1971 Super Bees built. The car found a buyer at the Dodge dealer that same month.

After about 5 years of operation, the timing chain broke and the car was put aside by the owner for the time being. Altogether this rare Bine stood now nearly 40 years - from 1976 to 2015 - in the garage of the first owner.

Here times the American sales text from the year 2015

off to europe

first the vehicle ended up with its first European owner in Austria. There, a lot of repairs and investments were made. In almost all areas, care was always taken to maintain the original condition. After a few small driving tests, the project was then sold again, this time to Germany. When the car was picked up, it was no longer roadworthy, so the new owners knew that it should be taken to a specialist workshop. They choose the Moparshop, which made us very happy!

For a long time, our owner Oliver had the sale ads of the original Bine in observation. Now, unfortunately, someone else had bought it, but it still came to his workshop in Olfen. After a bit of searching, the fault with the engine was quickly found, with the already overhauled original Holley carburetor, the power valve was defective and the engine had clearly received too much gasoline. Since there was already dirt in the carburetor (despite the already cleanly restored tank), it was completely disassembled and cleaned again in an ultrasonic bath. After that, the engine ran "for now" super.
