The Plymouth "Rock`n Roll Runner" of the coveted year of construction 1969 does not show at first glance how good it is in shape. Because in our workshop, he was already partially restored and also drives really well. We noticed its beautiful bubbling, a powerful sound that is not unpleasantly loud. Another highlight of the two-door muscle car is that for each area already from the factory, the color black was chosen. This "Triple Black" color combination is one of the most desirable and rarer than one would expect. Used lock or not, we have here a really cool classic car with a driving fun guarantee.

While the car came with a 383cui HP engine, it is currently powered by a rebuilt 440cui engine. Also installed are fan headers, an A727 transmission, an original Road Runner propshaft with large universal joints, and an 8 3/4″ rear axle with differential lock. However, it would be easily available with a matching 383cui engine if desired. Also from the factory, braking here is done with large 11" drums. With a brake pad width of 3" at the front and 2.5" at the rear, braking performance is so good that a brake booster is definitely not needed. A power steering system was already installed at the factory to enable relaxed cruising.

Bring back the Rock`n`Roller

When the car arrived here from the USA, we had a solid body with a running engine in the yard...a very good basic prerequisite for reconditioning.

The tastes of each classic car owner, as far as the condition of his car is concerned, is so different and multifaceted that we ourselves can not determine exactly what work should be done so that it suits the new owner. One is fascinated by the used look of the exterior paint and may want to keep it. Alternatively, the car may be repainted. The interior C-pillar covers (Sailpanel) are still missing, but have been ordered.

If the Road Runner has aroused your interest, you are of course welcome to come by and have a look at the car.
