Durch ihre geprägte erhebung rund um den Port kann sie auch größere Unebenheiten und verzogene Krümmer gut abdichten. Das Kupfer selber hat auch den Vorteil das es im Gegensatz zu Papierdichtungen nicht verbrennen und rausfliegen kann.
