Mit ihren 1,5Ohm primären Widerstand ist sie optimal geeignet für die Verwendung mit der ab 1973 bei Chrysler Serienmäßig verbauten Transistorzündung. Entgegen der Pertronix Anleitung sollte auf jeden Fall der originale Vorwiderstand (das weißeKeramik Teil) beibehalten werden, da sonst der Transistor der Zündbox überlastet wird!
