Diese etwas höhere Dual Plane Ansaugspinne empfiehlt sich wenn der Motor in der Lage sein soll statt der _ab werk_ 5500rpm bis 6500rpm hochzudrehen, ohne aber viel Drehmoment in den unteren Drehzahlen zu verlieren. Aber Achtung, durch das mehr an höhe bei der Spinne passen die meisten Luftfilter nicht mehr unter die Motorhaube (oder halt nicht ohne bearbeitung). Das Filterunterteil sollte eine so genannte _drop base_ sein.

Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifolds have a high-rise, dual-plane layout, with a 180 degree firing order. They produce incredible top-end horsepower, while retaining good throttle response. Performer RPMs have larger plenums and runners to match the free-flowing exhaust, high-lift cams, and other modifications ofa high-output engine. They're intended for high-performance street or competition engines that run from 1,500 to 6,500 rpm.
