| A Product Type: | Battery Cable |
This junction box is designed to isolate positive terminals along the battery cable run.
It is usually needed when the battery is installed in the trunk.
You can then tap into the positive cable from front to back using crimped cable lugs to connect the alternator cable.
In some cases, we also like to tap into the supply line to the fuse box.
To ensure that these connection points cannot come into contact with ground under any circumstances, they can simply be mounted inside the box.
The box has loops on the outside so that it can be secured in one place with cable ties.
If desired, however, you can also drill holes in the box and screw it in place. Just keep in mind that these screws will then have ground potential and can therefore cause a short circuit.
It has two cable openings along the longitudinal axis for cables up to 50 mm² in diameter.
There is a hole in the cross-section for a 16 mm² cable.
The box is not waterproof!
