Brake caliper Bendix 4 piston 1966-69 B-body (2" piston)
Professionally overhauled used part.
Since these brake calipers have not been available new or used for years, we are offering you a completely overhauled brake caliper.
The problem with the construction version of these calipers is that the holes in the caliper are rusted, but these are the running surfaces for the piston seals.
This pitting can only be removed cleanly by drilling out the 4 holes in the caliper and then inserting sleeves to reduce the hole back to the original diameter. Stainless steel sleeves are used for this process so that the whole thing can never rust again. To be on the safe side, we still recommend the use of silicone brake fluid, which you can obtain from us.
The overhaul includes
-dismantling
-Glass bead blasting
-cleaning
-Drill out and insert 4 stainless steel sleeves
-new pistons
-new gaskets
-new breather screws
-new sealing rings for the crossover holes
