Overhaul service for the good but rare original 4-piston brake calipers from 1966-69 B-body (2" pistons)
The price is for the overhaul of one brake caliper.
You have to send in your old rebuildable 4 Piston Caliper.
As these calipers have not been available new or used for years, we are offering a complete overhaul service for them.
The difficult thing with the construction version of these calipers is that the holes in the caliper rust, but these are the running surfaces for the piston seals.
This pitting can only be removed cleanly by drilling out the 4 holes in the caliper and then inserting sleeves to reduce the hole back to the original diameter. Stainless steel sleeves are used for this process so that the whole thing can never rust again. To be on the safe side, however, we still recommend the use of silicone brake fluid, which you can obtain from us.
