Whether your ride has just been mildly modified or transformed into a real fire-breather, you need to consider RAM competition pressure plates. They're made in both fixed and adjustable static-pressure configurations, incorporating explosion-resistant plates made of steel or aluminum, plus features such as chrome-vanadium springs, heavy-duty covers, and high-strength hardware. RAM makes the three major types of pressure plates--diaphragm, with its reasonable pedal pressures and quick, clean releases, and the more heavily competition-oriented Borg & Beck and long styles.
