We strongly recommend that you completely disassemble, clean, and then reassemble them before installation.

Valve seats are all clean and ground to the same height
The heads are completely stripped of paint and rust, but a surface of flash rust may have formed during subsequent storage.

-Modern Viton valve stem seals
-2.14 in. stainless steel intake valves-1.81 in. stainless steel exhaust valves
-converted to hardened valve seats for use with unleaded gasoline
