Der Abstand nach hinten zum Zylinderkopf ist sehr gering. Um zu verhindern das der Hauptkabelanschluß hier einen Kurzschluß verursacht, muß das Gehäuse der Lima ggfs zerlegt und gedreht werden. Die Keilriemenlänge hat ebenfalls Einfluß und der Anschraubkontaktkann nachgefeilt werden
Wir haben sie schon bei vielen unterschiedlichen Motoren verbaut, es ist aber nicht einfach.
Überlegt euch vor dem Kauf also bitte gut ob ihr euch das zutraut!

Bitte beachtet, dass die LiMa mit beiden möglichen externen Reglern funktioniert! Bei Fahrzeugen mit zwei Feldwicklungen müssen beide Kabel an den FLD Kontakten angeschlossen werden. Bei Fahrzeugen mit nur einer Feldwicklung, wird dazu nur ein FLD Kontakt genutzt. Der Andere FLD Kontakt wird via 16 AWG (oder größer) Kabel auf Masse gelegt! Manche Modelle haben einen Massekontakt auf der Rückseite, dieser Kontakt (oder jede andere blanke Stelle) funktioniert hierbei.
Note that the Powermaster alternator is a double field unit that will work with both double field
and single field type external regulators. If your vehicle has two small field wires, they should
be connected to the FLD terminals on the back of the alternator. These wires are interchangeable, so either wire can be connected
to either FLD terminal. If your vehicle has one small field wire, connect it to either FLD terminal on the alternator. Then, using
a short 16AWG or larger jumper wire, ground the remaining FLD terminal. Some models have a ground stud on the back
alternator case; this or any other bare metal grounding point will be sufficient.
