Mit diesem Zusatzfilter könnt ihr auf eine einfache und günstige Art und Weise das Leben eures Getriebes oder eures Lenkgetriebes deutlich erhöhen. Mopar hat zwar ab Werk schon einen Filter in der Wanne, damit bleiben die Dreckpartikel aber immer im System. Der Filter eignet sich auch besonders für die Verwendung nach einer Getriebeüberholung, so werden mögliche Dichtungsreste und Dreckpartikel direkt aus dem System (beim Wechsel des Filters) entfernt. Einige frühe Mopars hatten so einen Filter sogar ab Werk in den Getriebeölkühlerleitungen.
