These valves are 1.74 in., the original size used on all 1968-78 big block heads.
Older big blocks were fitted with 1.60 in. from the factory. However, these 1.74” can also be used in these heads. All you have to do is mill the seats larger.
If you also mill away material directly above the seats, the flow potential of the heads is significantly improved!
