2pc steering column end foam seal set for 70–73 A-Body / 70–72 B-Body / 70–74 E-Body (column shift)
2-piece reproduction foam seal set for the steering column end, designed for models with column shift. This seal prevents engine fumes from entering the cabin through the steering column. Manufactured from charcoal foam with OEM-correct thickness and density for proper sealing and fit.
Note:
Also correct for ALL 1970 models. In 1970, a one-year-only lock-out linkage system was used between the ignition lock cylinder and the transmission. Whether column or floor shift, automatic or manual, an internal shift tube was utilized.
The larger foam seal installs on the outside of the steering column approximately 4" from the end. The smaller foam seal installs approximately 2" inside the shift tube.
