The best disc brake conversion kit on the market!
1962-76 A-Body power brake set up (with brake booster)
ATTENTION 4,5 in. bolt circle
We have installed many things in recent years, but none of them come close to these braking values with the same pedal pressure. This may also be due to the fact that components from late 70s Mopars are used here and not the wheel brake cylinders from much too small lightweight Mustangs like some others (don't get fooled by nice names!!)
There are now many cheap copies of these systems on the market, but they can't keep up either.
The kit is as complete as possible, it includes:
- Brake rotors; 11in. vented rotors
- 1 piston calipers, brackets and pads (the service friendly slider type)
- New spindles that use the larger wheel bearings that were standard from 1973 onwards as the predecessors were often overloaded
- Brake hoses, oil seals and dust caps
- Hardware kit for installation
- Dust shields to keep the brake dust away from the rims
- Upper wishbones (wishbones) with optimized geometry for better directional stability and more restoring forces
- New upper suspension joints in the large version as used on the B & E & C-Body vehicles
- New lower suspension joints
- New master brake cylinder & brake Booster specially dimensioned for use with brake booster and with disc brakes.
- Universal brake pressure distribution valve for the disc/drum combination.
We will be happy to find the 4 brake lines in the engine compartment that are suitable for you, also in stainless steel, or you can crimp your own lines.
