Universal joint rubber bellows and clamps
This rubber bellows ensures that no dirt gets into the permanent lubrication of the front cardan shaft joint. To fit the rubber bellows, the joint must be dismantled. To do this, dismantle the cardan shaft and remove the sheet metal cover clamped on at the front. Next, push the joint out to the front and remove the bearing caps with the needles. Next you have to press out the pin that carried the bearing caps and then you can pull the cast steel cover of the joint off the cardan shaft. Now you can clean everything, relubricate and reassemble with the new rubber bellows.
When pressing in the pin, please make sure that the pin does not mushroom in the bearing surface.
