Conversion kit to electronic ignition for all: 273, 318, 340, 360 cui small block engines
This complete kit enables conversion to electronic ignition.

Now that Mopar has stopped selling its conversion kits from original contact ignition to electronic ignition, we are now offering you an optimized version.
From our experience, this set now consists of an ignition distributor from Firecore, which is not cheaply cast like the Mopar distributors, but turned from a solid block of aluminum. This results in a more stable housing, which also has more precise tolerances.
The ignition coil is a round black Pertronix Flame Thrower which has exactly the right primary resistance to work optimally with the ignition box.
Included is of course the matching wiring harness and detailed instructions, whereby in the end only 2 cables need to be connected! The distributor enables the mechanical centrifugal adjustment to be limited quickly and easily. This is particularly helpful with modified engines.
The distributor comes from the factory with a slightly faster centrifugal adjustment. However, springs are also included to further change the adjustment speed, but this is rarely necessary. The vacuum can can also be adjusted using the supplied Allen key.
