Fits all Mopar electronic ignition systems.
The ignition coil used must have at least 1.5 Ohms primary resistance; otherwise, the transistor will be overloaded and the box will fail due to overheating.
Make sure the housing has a reliable ground connection through both mounting screws.
Mount the box in a location where it will not be exposed to excessive heat – the aluminum plate beneath the transistor serves as a heat sink.
This box will also work if your previous unit had a connector with contacts.
