We were able to acquire this engine, which we built 20 years ago using almost exclusively new Mopar Performance parts and which was never put into service. At the time, it was fitted with one of the few new Mopar Performance engine blocks bearing the casting number 2468330
We will completely disassemble and inspect the engine again. This will also give us the opportunity to modify it so that it meets your exact specifications. Currently, a stroker kit has been installed to 472 cu. in. while maintaining the standard 4.250“ bore. However, the block itself can accommodate a bore up to 4.500” and even more stroke, making 528 and even 572 cu. in. feasible.
Regarding the block number:
2468330 > the magic number, because it is the casting number of the legendary 426 Hemi engine, which was only produced from 1964 to 1971. It’s also “magical” when the TÜV inspector is supposed to enter such an engine into your Mopar’s registration documents. Because without the correct casting number, it is not possible to register a Hemi in German vehicle documents. None of the currently available HEMI engine blocks have this casting number. Original HEMI engine blocks, on the other hand, are nearly impossible to find or afford. So if this is important to you, here is your chance to buy a new HEMI engine that is eligible for registration.
This package includes an engine, from the intake manifold to the oil pan, excluding auxiliary components. It comes with an ignition distributor, ignition wires, and spark plugs.
