Power steering gearbox
Completely overhauled by professionals
Version 3 Extra Firm Feel
Sale only in exchange for the old steering gear!
An additional basic fee of € 300.00 will be charged as a deposit for this power steering gear.
The deposit will be refunded when the old steering gear has been returned. The customer is responsible for the return shipping.
We can offer these original steering gears in 3 versions:
Version 1
Corresponds to the original! Meaning depending on the pressure of the power steering pump, you can turn the steering wheel with one finger and feel little of what your wheels are doing on the road.
Version 2 (Firm Feel)
Corresponds to what was installed on Chrysler police cars from the factory. The steering gear feels tighter and you have a more direct connection to the road.
Version 3 (Extra Firm Feel)
It is the tightest you can get out of the original steering gears. If you have an overall sporty chassis and also like to go fast around the bend, take this version.
Original gear ratio is 16:1
If you want it even tighter, with a modern steering feel, take a new steering gear from Borgeson, which we also have in stock. The ratio here is then 14:1.
