Hydraulic Brake Booster Conversion Kit
The pressure from the servo pump is then responsible for the brake booster, so it doesn't matter how much vacuum the engine produces!
Original Mopar brake systems with booster achieve an average maximum brake pressure of 1400psi, with this kit you can easily reach 1800psi, even with a large master cylinder bore of 1.120_.

These Hydroboost power brake assist units work hydraulically by
plumbing into your power steering lines. Not only does this
eliminate the need for engine vacuum, the unit itself is much
smaller than common vacuum boosters, providing much needed
clearance in Hemi applications. Whether you now have manual
brakes or vacuum assist, these hydroboost units will increase your
driving comfort, decrease your stopping distance, and coupled with
the aluminum Wilwood master cylinder, will add a great big touch
of style under the hood.
Our kits come complete with the hydroboost unit with correct
brackets to bolt onto your firewall and brake pedal, a properly
sized, bright plated or black aluminum Wilwood tandem master cylinder,
and enough braided hose to completely plumb the power steering
and power brake units to your stock pump. Includes fittings to work
with either power rack and pinion units or stock Mopar power
steering boxes.
Compatible with any brake kit, stock or otherwise.
Please allow up to 500 miles of operation for systems to fully _settle / break in_! Until all the air pockets and _micro bibbles_ settle out of the assist unit and power steering system, operations may be initially noise, accompanied by some _pedal kickback_ upon braking, and _stiff / slow pedal return_ caused by air in the systems.
