Application and effect as a rust sanitizer and primer:
The rust converter is the patented rust restoration system based on epoxy resin.
The cognac-colored, clear liquid forms an organometallic iron complex with the neutralized layer of rust.
This black, very compact and resistant protective layer that forms provides long-term protection against corrosion and, thanks to the epoxy resin components, is also a perfect primer layer. It is particularly suitable for the renovation of machines, systems and vehicles. Thanks to its high penetration into the rust pores and its perfect film formation (no brush marks), good effectiveness and further processing is guaranteed.
Remove loose rust, grease, dirt and paint residue infiltrated by rust using a wire brush, grinding wheel, etc.
It is applied to the remaining pore rust in 2 - 3 layers with a brush, roller, spray gun or in several layers.
It is also very suitable for dipping and pouring out of closed containers.
Finally, a top coat must be applied.
The product is free of lead, zinc and chromate, can be stored indefinitely, excellent creeping properties.
