Shock adjustable, Koni Red, rear
You're looking for a high-quality shock absorber that doesn’t cost too much, is adjustable, and firmer than the original or other budget options? Then this red Koni shock absorber is exactly what you need. We install it frequently and have never had any issues with it. Please adjust it before installation! A good starting point is a medium setting.
For installation in Mopars, please order 1 x 9.8112G additionally!
The working travel of these shocks is slightly shorter than the originals. This is not a problem in 95% of cases. However, if you have a lifted vehicle or a '66-'67 B-Body with large wheels (deep rear wheel wells), we would recommend using longer shocks, such as:
RAN-RS999116
or QA1-TS901.
The fact that the shock absorbers reach full extension when lifting the vehicle is irrelevant.
What’s important is that the shocks do not reach full extension during operation (i.e., while driving).

Here’s a brief guide to choosing shock absorbers:
Manufacturer KYB: An affordable option, but don’t expect much in terms of damping or durability. Simply put: "you get what you pay for."
Manufacturer KONI: In short, "Best Bang for the Buck." These shocks are adjustable and often our top choice, especially for the front.
Manufacturer Bilstein: The only manufacturer that produces well-damping shock absorbers that aren't too stiff. Our recommendation for full-size cars and for drivers who value good damping without wanting it too firm.
Manufacturer ViKing: Here, anything is possible — top quality, maximum variety, and the most adjustable options.
